A historical movie about the siege of Ansi Fortress and how a rebel general defends it against an invading Chinese army. Huge battle spectacle. Great action and war movie. Available on Netflix. Recommended

A Filipino action movie about an assassin who quits the game but his former boss goes after her family inviting revenge from the former assassin. A story told several times before, nothing new. Not recommended. Available with Netflix

On the lighter side-Movies-Weaverfish (2013-U.K.)-Shane O’Meara, Lucy-Jane Quinlan

I was literally duped into watching this sorry excuse for a movie by an excellent review on the internet. A group of friends go a forbidden area of a river to party and then get stuck by a virus which slowly consumes their bodies. Very slow moving and the action/horror comes nearly at the end which is not enough. Available on Amazon with prime membership. Highly NOT Recommended

A group of people on a hike are stalked by a girl in red dress. Not know how to put it in any other way. It is a just a ghost chasing movie. Highest grossing Taiwanese movie at that time. Available on Amazon with prime membership Recommended for curiosity sake.

On the lighter side-Movies-Anna and the Apocalypse (2017-Britain)-Ella Hunt, Malcolm Cumming

A zombie apocalypse breaks out in a sleepy town and Anna with the help of her friends try to slice and dice their way out of harm’s way. With actors singing and fighting zombies, it is a weird blend of two genres. Recommended for curiosity sake.
